London Fashion Week really is like Christmas for fashion photographers. For a few days each February and September, the whole of Central London is transformed into one big fashion festival for 5 days and there are colourful characters and scenes to shoot everywhere you look. I was lucky enough to shoot a really interesting and varied selection of shows this season, including Pam Hogg at Fashion Scout (a rare catwalk photography outing for me), Deborah Lyons’ launch of her stunning new collection in Mayfair, and an eclectic and vibrant show by Pierre Garroudi. Plus as usual there’s always the opportunity for some nice candid shots backstage.
